Working with UNB Fredericton’s MBA Professional Development Class to enhance their experience
with social entrepreneurship while assisting the newest members of the Fredericton community.
FREDERICTON: Together with the UNB MBA Professional Development Class, The Cultural Centre will host a fundraising mixer on April 1, 2016 at 6 pm to help the Centre provide additional space for refugees and other community groups.
With the recent influx of refugees, a growing number of organizations are looking for space in the Centre to provide refugee services. This event will serve to increase awareness of the different associations and organizations housed within the Cultural Centre, including those that are providing refugee services.
The fundraiser will showcase entertainment and food from various cultures, as well as a silent auction to raise funds for this important cause.
“This event will allow the community to not only support a great cause, but also showcase various forms of unique entertainment from different cultures” says Dan Taylor, President and CEO of The Cultural Centre.
Tickets are $30 for an individual or $50 for two, and can be purchased at the Cultural Centre, YMCA or Read’s on King Street.
